Vulnerable Post Here. I am not going to lie, I am actually a little scared of this Summer, no not the killer wasps or dreaded Southern humidity, but the thought of our country going into a recession. I am even more concerned for my retired, aging parents being able to continue to pay a mortgage, medical bills and their day to day needs.
I am 38. I know I’ve been through a recession before, but not like this, I had “security” at that time, didn’t have a rent payment, didn’t have a car, and had a 40/hours a week job, but now, all that has changed and I am a FREELANCER - so yeah, you can see why I bite my nails every night thinking about this.
So for my next article, I want to cover some tips & tricks on how us publicist, journalist, and other freelance talent can stop worrying, posh up our bootstrapping, and stop the Amazon hauls.
