Well, Hello - Lawdy, it has been some ttiiiiimmmmeee. I recently moved from Charlotte, NC to Ganer, NC (about 3 hours East of Charlotte, outside Raleigh) its where the Country Crooner Scotty McCreery is from, fun fact: his mom was our Real Estate agent.
Let me tell you something now, if you’re looking for a sign to move, do it. I was in Charlotte for nearly 15 years and while it was good to me, I knew it was time to get out; not to mention my 557 square foot STUDIO apartment was, yes $1500/month - no joke. I could no longer justify that city life - no space for my dogs, construction & sirens 24/7 (being deaf does help at times but when the hearing aides pop in…) couldn’t see the damn stars at night - this country girl (yes, from Powhatan, Virginia) needed to get back to a place and I’ll say: it less people. I missed the smell of burning leaves, bonfires, cow shit, and importantly MOM & POP shops - Charlotte doesn’t like ‘em, but Garner still appreciates these small, independently, family owned businesses.
Anyway, I am sorta-kinda settled in my new place, the boys are happy and lets be honest, that’s the only thing that matters.

What I Am Working On
Looking for 40 unisex swag bag items for an exclusive art installation at the Kimpton Angler's South Beach Hotel of the Eve Esthetic by Dion Burton on Thursday, December 7 at 5pm during Miami Art Week, at the Kimpton Angler's South Beach Hotel. The exhibit celebrates the beauty of art that elevates the image of the first humanoid woman.
